A pioneering initiative by the company to promote emerging flowering tourism that brought together the <\/span><b>last March 7th<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> to technicians and managers of the main flowering crops in Spain such as <\/span><b>Jerte Valley<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (cherry tree), <\/span><b>Brihuega <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(lavender), <\/span><b>Gredos Mountains<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (broom), <\/span><b>Mule <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(almond tree), as well as <\/span><b>Cieza<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and <\/span><b>Aitona<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (peach).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The meeting took place at the <\/span><b>Ricote Valley Hub<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ricotevalleyhub.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">www.ricotevalleyhub.com<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), in Villanueva del R\u00edo Segura, and was attended by professionals from travel agencies, active tourism companies and specialized journalists from all over the country. This first Forum is part of the <\/span><b>agrotourism project &#039;Experience Spain in Bloom&#039;<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (www.floracion.es), led by Agromarketing, and selected by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism as one of the most innovative initiatives in the country with funds from the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><b>New trends and success stories<\/b><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Forum featured the opening speech by Cristina S\u00e1nchez<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">(<\/span><b>Head of Section of the Sub-Directorate of Tourism Development and Sustainability of Mincetur<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) which she analysed in her presentation on &#039;New innovative products: Tourist experiences&#039;. The different territories with a flourishing tourism development participated next, such as Jenifer Bermejo, from the <\/span><b>Jerte Valley Tourism Association (TUJERTE) <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who explained the success story of pioneering flowering in Spain.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He <\/span><b>Mayor of Brihuega<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Luis Viejo, focused his speech on the involvement of the population in the organization of flowering activities, while the <\/span><b>Mayor of Ciez<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">a, Tom\u00e1s Rubio, did the same in his presentation on the importance of programming music, gastronomy, culture and sports activities in flowering tourism. Beatriz Obis, tourism technician at the<\/span><b> Aitona Town Hall<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, focused on the role of women in the peach blossom, and from the <\/span><b>Mula City Hall<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, technician Rub\u00e9n Caballero, analyzed the results of the experience of his MulaFlor 2024 project.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">European funding opportunities for flowering tourism projects by Jos\u00e9 Luis Torneo (<\/span><b>Adri Group from Vega del Segura<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) or the role of the farmer at the center of flowering tourism by the <\/span><b>agricultural engineer<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Pedro Fern\u00e1ndez were other speakers at the Arturo Soler and Alejandro Ortega, CEO and Marketing Director respectively of <\/span><b>Agromarketing Spain<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. In their speech, they explained the importance of digitalisation, social networks and the development of technological tools such as an APP for the Blooms of Spain to explain the boom in emerging bloom tourism and improve the visitor experience.
