The presentation of the tourist programme that will bring a month full of emotions and activities to Cieza took place in the emblematic C\u00e1rcel Vieja de Murcia.<\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\nWith the arrival of spring, the fields of Cieza come alive with the opening of the flowers on their fruits, and with them comes the return of \u201cFloraci\u00f3n\u201d, the outstanding tourist programme of the Cieza City Council which last year attracted 80,000 people to the town. The seventh edition of the \u201cFloraci\u00f3n International Tourist Plan\u201d was presented at the event, which will take place from 24 February to 19 March. During this period, visitors will be able to enjoy numerous activities related to nature, gastronomy, heritage, performing arts and sport, forming the various petals of \u201cFloraci\u00f3n\u201d. The presentation was attended by Pascual Lucas and Jos\u00e9 Antonio Serrano, mayors of Cieza and Murcia respectively, as well as Juan Francisco Mart\u00ednez, general director of Tourism, Antonio Moya, councillor for Tourism, Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez, councillor for Commerce, Conchi Villa, responsible for Culture, and Antonio Semitiel, councillor for Sports. This natural spectacle called \u201cFlowering\u201d attracts thousands of visitors every year, which is why the plan to promote this unique explosion of colour in the world is called \u201cinternational\u201d. It is an experience that can only be experienced in the fields of Cieza, where millions of flowers flood the landscape. In addition to being a tourist attraction, it is also an outstanding cultural and gastronomic event. \u201cIt is a project that values the result of the hard work of the Ciezan farmers, who, after cultivating the fields of fruit trees, are the true architects of this unique landscape that only flowering can create, and which allows us to enjoy the stone fruit of Cieza,\u201d Moya emphasised. For his part, Pascual Lucas, mayor of Cieza, highlighted the commitment of the municipal government to the growth of this project and to all the sectors involved, including farmers, tourist companies, the commercial sector, the hotel sector and, of course, tourists from Murcia, Spain and the rest of the world, so that everyone can see the wonders that the town offers. In this seventh edition, \u00abFloraci\u00f3n\u00bb is accompanied by numerous activities, each framed in one of the petals that make up the program. The Performing Arts and the \u00abFlor Cieza Festival\u00bb stand out as protagonists, but the program is also extensive in the petals of Nature, Heritage, Sports and Gastronomy. The gala was enlivened by several musical performances by the Ciezan group Lucky Duckes, giving a special touch to the occasion.\n\n
